Every year, two of the major French papers devoted to business and industry , L’Usine Nouvelle and Industrie et Technologie, are awarding the title of “Engineer of year” in eight categories, in collaboration with the French National Board for Engineer and Scientist (Conseil National des IngÃ©nieurs et des Scientifiques de France (CNISF)). David Vissière, founder of Sysnav, was nominated in two categories. He was finally awarded the Special Jury Prize for his breakthrough in low-cost navigation without GPS, and his ability to convert his innovative ideas into practical applications with his team.
